0:04 Hi everyone. In this video, we will see
0:07 how to clone a quote using a N52 quick
0:10 button. We create a formula of type
0:12 clientside calculation on the quote
0:15 entity. This is a blank one I prepared
0:18 earlier. We search for clone under the
0:20 functions list and then hold down the
0:22 shift key and click on the clone
0:24 function. This will bring up a wizard
0:26 for the function. The entity we are
0:29 looking for is quote and it is the quote
0:31 record we are currently on.
0:40 The child records field displays a list
0:42 of all the relationships between the
0:44 quote and other entities. In this
0:46 example, I want the quote products. This
0:49 is the quote details relationship. So I
0:51 select this. For this example, I want
0:53 the prefix to be true. This will add a
0:56 small identifier to the name of the
0:58 newly created quote. Click on generate
1:01 and the formula is added to the canvas.
1:03 And then we click save.
1:06 This tab shows my quotes in dynamics.
1:08 This is my test quote. And as you can
1:10 see, I have already added a clone button
1:13 that will call the formula we just
1:15 created. I click on the clone button and
1:18 then return to my list of quotes. As you
1:21 can see, it has been cloned. And when I
1:23 open it, the quote product is present as
1:24 well.
