0:07 video we're going to add an or 50 to a
0:10 quick button to a form that is used by
0:12 the portal we will then demo this quick
0:15 button working with an or 52 formula to
0:18 affect the portals form note that it is
0:22 presumed you have Microsoft portal
0:24 installed in your environment and that
0:26 you have working knowledge of North52s
0:28 decision tables if you do not please see
0:32 the links below for instructions on how
0:34 to set these up the formula we will use
0:38 is this one this formula runs off the
0:42 case entity and you can see that a set
0:46 of that if the customer field of a case
0:48 contains data and it's a customer type a
0:52 set to account this formula will
0:56 retrieve the address information from
0:59 that account and copy it to the
1:01 beginning of the cases description field
1:04 here if the customer field is not set to
1:09 an account then it will display an error
1:12 message saying that there is no parent
1:14 account to bring the information from we
1:17 will trigger this formula using a quick
1:19 button so we will take note of the
1:21 formula shortcode here so now let's add
1:26 the quick button to the portal form that
1:28 will trigger this formula open the case
1:31 portal form while signed in with an
1:33 account that has added access you should
1:36 see the edit options along the form like
1:39 so and for this video we will add the
1:43 button above the title field here so
1:46 we'll click the edit button here this
1:49 opens up the editor and now we click on
1:52 the source icon to switch it to the HTML
1:55 editor mode we then paste in the HTML
1:59 for this quick button please see below

2:08 the data N52 button here is equal to
2:11 a formula shortcode
2:13 before you will need to replace this
2:16 with your own short code once added
2:20 we'll click OK and then the Save icon
2:23 the quick button has been added so now
2:26 let's test us refresh the page and you
2:29 should see the quick button like this
2:31 when we click the button here the
2:34 description is filled with the accounts
2:36 address and then when I remove the
2:42 customer like so and then I push the
2:47 button again we get the message as
2:49 expected
