0:04 hi everyone
0:05 like from Noor 52 here in today's video
0:08 we're going to show noir 52 interacting
0:11 with the dynamics a proud look we will
0:14 use a real world example one of our
0:16 clients gave us for this a customer
0:19 wanted their reps to be able to quickly
0:21 calculate a quote in Outlook using their
0:23 dynamics app they needed this quote to
0:26 be calculated using the following rules
0:30 as you can see there are seven business
0:33 requirements given to us and these seven
0:37 rules affect how much the insurance will
0:39 be and they are intuitive for the most
0:41 part so let's have a look so you can see
0:46 the vehicle type how old vehicle is does
0:54 the customer want protection against
0:55 uninsured motorists does the customer
0:59 want medical cover for any crash is
1:03 there a high chance an occupant will get
1:06 hurt in a collision and finally is
1:10 vehicle more likely to be stolen
1:14 so we translated these rules into a
1:17 decision table like so as you can see we
1:21 have moved each requirement over to its
1:23 own column like this so whenever a
1:28 formula is triggered the decision table
1:31 will run through each row and any row
1:36 that is true will have its auto premium
1:40 value added to the total auto premium
1:43 value so for example let's say I have a
1:47 five year old sedan we can see the sedan
1:52 means that I get 300 added to the auto
1:54 premium and it's a five years old so
1:59 it's between four and six so that's
2:01 another 350 added to the auto premium to
2:05 a total of 650 now say I wanted medical
2:10 coverage to be included
2:11 that's another 700 added which totals to
2:15 1350 so now let's show this decision
2:19 table in action on the dynamics app for
2:21 outlook and here we can see a couple of
2:24 examples that we have pre-made inside
2:27 the app for this example we will make a
2:30 new one so we can click on new and now
2:34 let's give it a name like Mini Cooper
2:37 and then we'll just fill in some details
2:43 and then finally we'll just click Save
2:46 as you can see the premium has been
2:50 calculated behind the scenes using the
2:52 rules we mentioned before if we change a
2:57 few values like so we can see that it is
3:03 again calculated and the premium is
3:05 updated without any work on the user's
3:08 part
