0:24 an agent provides a quote over the phone
0:26 which is then emailed to the customer to

0:41 coverage screen of my dental insurance
0:43 model driven app and I've got a customer
0:45 Susan Dove on the phone who is
0:47 interested in taking out the dental
0:48 policy
0:49 we are using the custom page feature and
0:52 I can select the various coverage
0:53 options gold silver and bronze initially
0:57 we select the first of April for the
0:58 policy start date and add in the
1:00 beneficiary details we'll include her
1:03 husband Mike on the policy too
1:06 once we click calculate premiums the
1:08 custom page makes a call to the North52
1:10 rules engine and using rating tables
1:12 determines pricing for the policy
1:13 selected we can see that the three
1:15 policies have different premiums and
1:17 coverages the agent informs Susan that
1:20 if the policy is started before the end
1:21 of February it will be cheaper so we
1:24 recalculate to find that the change
1:25 premiums are indeed cheaper the North52
1:29 rating tables determine this
1:32 Susan is okay with the earlier start
1:34 date and wants the silver policy so we
1:36 create a quote the North52 rules
1:38 engines builds the quote record ready
1:40 for the agent to discuss the finer
1:42 details for example if we click into the
1:44 coverage we can view what's included or
1:46 Not Included the North52 rules engine
1:49 builds this table using the silver
1:50 policy template and adjusts items like
1:53 waiting periods based on the policy
1:55 start dates
1:57 if we go back to the quote we can enter
2:00 contact details and email the policy to
2:01 Susan we move on the business process
2:04 flow which triggers North52 rules to
2:06 generate a PDF and email it to Susan the
2:09 PDF is generated from Json data created
2:11 by North52 and sent to Adobe Document
2:14 Services to be processed
2:18 Susan receives the email and reviews the
2:20 quote you can see all the details of the
2:23 policy including waiting periods defined
2:25 for various treatments
2:27 so you can click the link in the
2:29 document or email to accept and pay for
2:31 the quote once payment has been made the
2:34 record and Dynamics is updated to
2:36 reflect that the quote is now policy the
2:39 final step is for the policy documents
2:41 to be emailed to Susan
2:43 this also includes links to a register
2:45 on the portal to enable claims to be
2:47 processed
